Data Protection
1. Data Controller
Frural Digital, located at 281-11 Myeong-dong, Jecheon-si, Chungcheongbuk-do, Republic of Korea, is the controller of personal data collected through this Site and client engagements. Contact: [email protected], phone +82-5-544-1992.
2. Categories of Data Collected
We may collect: identity and contact data (name, email, organization, phone); communication content from forms and email; technical data (IP address, browser type, device identifiers); usage data (pages viewed, referral source); cookie data as described in our Cookie Preferences page; and project-related data you voluntarily provide for outreach planning.
3. Purposes of Processing
We process data to respond to inquiries, deliver contracted services, improve Site performance, maintain security, comply with legal obligations, and—only with consent where required—analyze aggregated usage patterns. We do not sell personal data.
4. Legal Basis
Under applicable Korean privacy law including the Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA), we rely on: contract performance for client projects; legitimate interests for Site security and basic analytics where balanced against your rights; consent for non-essential cookies and optional marketing; and legal obligation where retention is required.
5. Retention
Contact form submissions are retained up to twenty-four (24) months unless a client relationship continues. Contract and project records are retained seven (7) years for business and tax purposes. Technical logs are retained up to ninety (90) days. Cookie retention periods are listed in our Cookie Preferences page.
6. Third-Party Sharing
We share data with subprocessors only as needed: hosting providers, email delivery, analytics (if you opt in), and professional advisors under confidentiality. We require appropriate safeguards. We may disclose data when required by Korean law or valid legal process.
7. International Transfers
Our primary systems are located in the Republic of Korea. If we transfer data abroad for hosting, we implement safeguards consistent with PIPA requirements, including contractual protections and transfer impact assessments where applicable.
8. Security Measures
We apply access controls, encryption in transit (TLS), regular updates, and staff training. No method of transmission is completely secure; please use strong credentials for any client portals we provide.
9. Your Rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, suspension of processing, or withdrawal of consent where applicable. Contact [email protected]. You may lodge a complaint with the Personal Information Protection Commission (PIPC) or relevant Korean authority.
10. Children's Privacy
Our services target organizations, not children under fourteen (14). We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe we have collected such data, contact us for prompt deletion.
11. Policy Changes
We will post updates on this page with a revised date. Significant changes affecting ongoing processing will be communicated to active clients where feasible.
